Four people. The capacity of forty. Design, software, workflows, the rest of it.

Education, then research (a Founder’s Audit — never skipped, no public price), then a scoped project, then an optional retainer.
How the audit runsStaff get paid. Customers get served. Invoices go out on time. Underneath sits years of decisions nobody can fully explain — a site three suppliers touched, a brand that drifted, and the one person who knows how it all hangs together talking about retiring.
The worry isn’t ambition. It’s whether changing anything breaks the few things that currently pay the wages. That’s the right worry, and it’s where we start.
If it’s still an idea with a budget, you can still write. You just don’t get equal billing here — most of the work is companies that already run.
First we find out what’s true. Then we make the next piece — and it’s the same four people either way.
Builders
Concept, name, logo, identity, stationery, the site. Drawn from nothing, not adapted from a template.
Scalers
Communication, marketing, sales automation. The systems that let it grow without hiring for every step.
Optimizers
What already exists, working the way it should. We find out what’s true before anyone changes anything.
The work doesn’t stop at handover. Members keep a door into the studio — agents on current models, search tested rather than assumed, and training they can watch when it suits them.
No account layer. The people who scope it are the people who build it.
The Composer is a four-person studio in Belgium, working remotely across Belgium, the Netherlands and Bulgaria, with clients throughout Europe. We build the next piece of a company that already runs — design, software, workflows, the brand and the systems under it — without taking apart what currently pays.

Most companies buy this from four suppliers — a branding agency, a web builder, an automation consultant, and someone internal holding the three together. We do all of it, which is the whole reason nothing lands in the gap.
AI does the middle, and almost nothing else. It doesn’t decide what your business should be and it doesn’t draw your logo. It reads what we tell it to read, drafts what we’d have drafted, and does the parts that are the same every time — which is how four people stay on the decisions that matter. In practice, an hour of ours does what used to take four to eight, depending on the task — our own measure against our own old pace, not a promise about yours — and it’s why the audit fits in five days.
Claude, OpenAI and Grok for the models, written in Cursor and Visual Studio Code. Figma, Photoshop, Illustrator and Premiere Pro for design and film. Higgsfield for image and motion, and a real camera when that is the better answer. Google, Bing, LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook and TikTok for where people find you. Every company on this page was built with it.
The models we build on and the editors we build in. We aren’t loyal to one model — the same job goes through more than one and we keep whichever answers it best. A person reads every line before it goes near your business.
Identity, packaging, interface and film. This is the part that doesn’t come out of a prompt, and we don’t pretend otherwise.
Concept frames, stills and moving image — and a real camera when that is the better answer. We generate what is worth generating and shoot what isn’t, and we’ll tell you which one you’re looking at.
Where people look for you, and where they check you out afterwards. We build for these and we measure them — we don’t run your accounts.
Knowing the tools isn’t the skill, and any studio can list them. Knowing which one the job actually needs — and when the answer is none of them — is the part you’re paying for. The list will look different in a year. How we choose from it won’t.

Our own companies, run the same way we’d run yours — same work, our own money. The client names above are real and the work behind them is on the work page. What you won’t find anywhere on this site is a testimonial or a number we can’t hand you the proof for.
If the whole business is the job, it runs in this order every time, and research is never skipped. The other door is a scoped build: software and workflows from €10k, branding often less. In the first conversation we’ll tell you which one you’re actually in.
Before anything gets decided, a handful of your people learn enough to have a real opinion — usually the ones who'd have to live with the result. Half a day, in your building, no keynote. Enough to tell the difference between something useful and something that's been sold to them, and enough to push back on us.
Then we find out what's true, before anyone changes anything. For a company that's already running, that's usually a Founder's Audit: five business days, starting with a conversation rather than a form. Five days on our side. On yours it's a proper conversation with you, a few hours each with two or three of your people, and access to what you already have — it isn't a project for your team to run. If it's still a thought, it's the same research under a different name.
Only now does the work get scoped, and it gets scoped from what the research found rather than from what either of us assumed in week one. This is where the thing gets made — the concept, the identity, the site, the systems underneath, whatever the research says the business needs. Increasingly that includes how your systems read to machines as well as people — the assistants and agents your customers are already asking before they ask you. We build for that where it earns its place, and we'll say so when it doesn't yet. You'll have a scope and a number before any of it begins. The tools you already run that are worth keeping stay: we build around the ERP and the planning system, not through them.
Most of the work is finished when it's finished. But systems drift, teams change, and things built to run without you still need someone who knows how they work. If it makes sense at that point, we stay on a retainer. It's a decision for the end, not something to weigh up now, and plenty of companies never need it.
One conversation starts it: you tell us what you're sitting on, and we tell you what's really in front of you.
Start a conversationCan’t find yours? Ask it directly — a person reads it.
People search for it that way, so: that’s the shelf we sit on. We say studio because an agency usually runs a channel on your behalf, and a studio makes the thing itself — the concept, the identity, the site, the systems underneath. Same category, different job. Call it whatever helps you find us.
Yes, and it’s most of the work. A company that already runs has something harder than a blank page: decisions made years ago by people who have left, tools that half-talk to each other, and a brand that drifted across three suppliers. We start by finding out what’s actually load-bearing before anyone changes it.
No. If you need software or a workflow built now, that starts from €10k. Regular branding jobs are often less. If the whole business is the job, it runs in order: education, then research (a Founder’s Audit — five business days, never skipped), then a scoped project. Only then does anyone talk about staying on.
Custom software and workflow builds start from €10k. Regular branding and identity jobs are often less, and we name that number in the first conversation. If the whole business is the job, it starts with five days of research (a Founder’s Audit) with no public audit price. Anything after that is scoped from what we found.
That isn’t what we get hired to do, and it isn’t usually where the value sits. Most of what gets automated is the work nobody wanted in the first place: the follow-up, the handover, the reminder, the paperwork that dies in someone’s inbox. The point is that your people spend the day on the part only they can do.
The studio is Belgian and most conversations start here. Nothing about the work stops at the border, though. If you’re elsewhere in Europe, tell us where and we’ll say honestly whether the distance matters for what you need.
You don’t need a brief, a shortlist, or a number in your head yet. Tell us what the company is and what’s been on your mind. We’ll come back with what we’d do first, in plain words, and whether we’re the right people to do it.
